CPU 315-2 DP MaxSize limit

FuriousRage Bronze Member Joined: 9/2/2012 Last visit: 6/3/2019 Posts: 176 Rating: (16)	Hi, this friday i where at a customer to upload one changed FC that went from 13k to 16k in size, but this cpu refused to take the new FC because it was too big, what i can read out of the manual is that this cpu has a 64k limit per fc, and in my book 16k is no way near 64k. I checked (and compressed memory) and there was over 100k free space on the MMC, i even went online and deleted all data in there and re-uploaded it all (After obvious backup) and it still refused to take this 16k FC. Module: CPU 315-2 DP,6ES7 315-2AG10-0AB0 / V2.6. Any idea on this behaviour? Even my collegues think this is really wierd that only a 16k block cannot be uploaded. We divided this larger block into 2 seperated ones and both uploaded ok.

The 6ES7315-2AG10-0AB0 is a pretty oldCPU and as far as I know and according to its technical specification, 16kbyte is unfortunately the size limit for an FC. I hope this helps
