Hello sh.m; If you are using Profibus-DP slaves. and one of the slavesis an ET 200S, you could add a1SI ("single serial interface") module on the ET 200S and use that as a Modbus master. If you already have the ET 200S platform then this is a very cheap and efficient alternative. If interested, you can look at the chapter on Modbus in the following 1SI manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/9260793 Another option could be a Profibus-DP master to Modbus RTU master gateway.
