CPU – 315 –2DP; CPU SF fault and stop mode

We have S7-300,CPU 315-2AG10.0AB0 / V2.0.PLC system installed on one of our customers machine. This faulty CPU replaced with a CPU 315-2AH14-0AB0 / V3.3.

The Simatic manager HW config did not have this new type/version of CPU. So an updated HSP was download and installed in order to configure the new CPU in the program. After the configuration of the hardware the program was downloaded, the CPU still goes to SF fault as if it is not fully compatible with other devices in the rack. It goes to stop mode after some time.

Now I have downloaded the latest firmware revision for this new CPU from Siemens website to update the firmware.

Please advise on how to resolve the CPU SF fault and stop mode ?

Check your Step 7 version and I think , you can check your Hotfix
