cpu 315-2pn/dp and SICK, communication error

Alan Teh Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi Expert, i need help on the FB65, i using the OC wizard setup a DB with the FB65 "TCON". when i REQ active i get the error code is 7000. may i know what is the problem? how to solve it? i get the FB from Sick supplier, which is FB 72. but when i call the FB i get the error code is 16#3 or 16#9 which is "Only one function block action can be carried out" and "communication error". i did ask the Sick's guys but he tell me i should ask the siemens guys about this error code, but i don't think so, beacuse the FB is generate by Sick's guys. btw, anyone have idea on the error code?

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello Alan, Status 7000 is no error but means "no job is active". You have to trigger the TCON block with REQ = 1. But: Do you also use CPU + CP and wants to use the open communication blocks? This will not work. With a CP, you have to use AG_SEND/AG_RCV.
