Hello zezo; The memory allocation of the S7-315 CPUs has evolved over the years it has been in productionn, so an answer to take into account the type of configuration it shows. Based on your description you should read the following FAQ, specially point 4: CPU with MMC bay: How can you obtain an overview of the memory concept of SIMATIC S7-300 CPUs and C7 devices? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/7302326 -Basically you will have the "main memory" in the CPU, it is known as "Work memory"; this is where the processor executes the program that will be loaded in the "Load memory", located in the MMC you have slotted in the memory bay of the CPU. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
