Hi everyone! Well , I re-opened this thread because I have the same error reported byM_Mahallawy, now in TIA Portal. I don't Know it this is where I should post the question. In case this post were moved, I explain the problem:
I have a CPU 317-2DP and a CP 343-1 Advanced which I need to sinchronize using NTP. As the case posted in this thread, I sync my CP whith NTP server but PLC is not synchronized. I followed the SIEMENS procedures, but there is no a positive answer for the problem. Same problem, but in this case I am using TIA PORTAL V12 SP2 and STEP 7 V 12 SP2. So,I am afraid the update solution is not the answer. Thanks in advance for any suggestion. -------------- New subject after splitting from S7-300 NTP Time Synch problem. |

Hi my problem solved and Syncing is working fine with the help of this LINK!!!! It solved my problem! As the link says basic procedure of syncing AS with a PC station is as follows: 1- configure PC Station as an NTP server( the link get you through this step by step) 2- stop/start W32time service after configuration.it is also necessary to do this (stop/start) W32tm service every time you change date and time of the PC. the link suggest doing this by using command line but there is more simpler way. Computer--> manage---> service and ....-->services----> find windows time on the list and double click on it. in the open windows you can stop or start the service. 3- configure CP to be synced via NTP 4- configure CPU AS master IN PLC you are done!! remeber to restart time service every time you change time of the NTP server! |
