Hi, I think you already mentioned the following manual: SIMATIC NET Industrial Communications Commissioning PC Stations - Manual and Quick Start That will be the start. When you have configured this you can start connecting the Lookout system to the OPC Server from Siemens. I think this part must be described in the SCADA system manuals since I'm really not sure or the SCADA system you use is able to act as a OPC Client. But some information about how to address variables with SIMATIC NET is described in the following manual. Industrial Communication with PG/PC Volume 2 - Interfaces Programming Manual If it's nor capable of OPC you can have a look at this manual. It described how to get data from the PLC without using the OPC Layer. It's about how to use the Programming Interface. SIMATIC NET S7 Programming Interface |

Hi INS, Iread manuals which you adviced me. Ok, in attachment is screenshot of my network configuration made in Netpro of Step 7. You can see components in network. In this case I am interested only for ethernet communication. Profibus is quite clearly. In manual Iread that I have to make new connection. Whether I make connection an side OPC server (I want to make S7 connection between them) or on side CPU (on this side I can't make s7 connection?). You will see in screenshot how I can make new connection. And, in PLC program, I for transfer data from PLC to PC station I used FC5, FC6 blocks for send/ receive data? And the end, on PC station side, mast I make the same configuration? Thank you in advance, Zoran AttachmentEthernet.pdf (465 Downloads) |
