cpu 942 and wincc Flexible

We have some problems with an old 942 cpu s5.
Need to change the HMI which was connected through a CP 524, the problems are:


1 .- when we write in reports (ex MB100) the system works OK.

2 .- When the system only works with the internal RAM of the CPU can change the values we want.
3 .- The program is too big to work with the RAM so cpu will record in an EPROM and there can not write in database
4.- if you want to write word of databases such
DB100 DW5, DO NOT CHANGE THE VALUE IN PLC, WANT TO CHANGE VIA STEP5 get a message indicating INDICATES THAT YOU CAN NOT CHANGE AND THE BASE IS IN THE EPROM.

please anyone has any idea how to solve this problem.

already tested the only option to save the prorama in the EPROM andthe DB in RAM of the CPU.

That will happen every time the battery has been downloaded cpu?
have to have a person on the application you are loading the DB through the STEP5.
