cpu bootloader missing

Bofely Posts: 123 Rating: (5)	Hello, My cpu 314 stop led keep flashing when there is a mmc inserted. I can't reach it with accessible node button from step 7 software. I can reach the cpu when the mmc is not inserted, stop led also stop with flashing. The problem is not the mmc, the mmc work fine on the other cpu (cpu 312). It seem that my cpu314 bootloader is missing? Check my screenshot (attachment). Do I have a defective cpu? Attachment cpu314missingbootloader.jpg (199 Downloads)

Read this to get your CPU running again How do you reset a SIMATIC S7-300 CPU and MMC (default reset or overall reset)? Regards, Marcjan

If that is not the right CPU then the CPU want's you to reset the MMC back to factory setting (good as new) That's one way to have a empty card, other way is to manualy remove the program, but that methode is verry tricky because the card can be damaged. Never format the card in windows. Regards, Marcjan
