Hello nookamon I'm not too sure if I fully understand what you are after either. To begin with, what do you want to do with these bits once you set them? After all, Software redundancy means that the main program is NOT executed inStandby CPU. As also both CPU's have (or should have) the same redundancy relatedprogram anyhow and either can assume Master or Standby CPU role, I also can't see the need for generatingaseperate Master as well as a Standby CPUfault bit via the error OB's. Having said that, you can certainly find out which one is the current Master CPU and which one is the current Standby CPU via bit 0 and 1 in the predefined Status Word for Software Redundancy(The Status Word is in DBW 8 of the instance DB for FB 101 'SWR_ZYK'). Have a look at chapter 4 of the SIMATIC S7-300/S7-400 Software redundancy for SIMATIC S7 manual for more on these. I hope this helps |
