cpu goes to stop mode randomly

Is the PLC configured to automatically restart on power failure? 2. Is the power supply noisy or large enough? 3. Are there additional signal/comm modules with loose connections? 4. Create a diagnostics error routine to trap errors within the PLC program. 5. Are the terminals powering the PLC snug? Perhaps the connections are loose causing power problems. 6. Do the PLC module wires pass the snug or tug test? Terminals torqued properly so wires do not wiggle loose during normal operation... The diagnostics buffer really looks like it is a power / wiring problem or a bad PLC. A bad 24V common / return (M) lead might produce these results. A good multi-meter should help diagnose the problems by watching max/min values.
