Hello Peter; The 20-750-ENETR is an Ethernet/IP comm. card for Rockwell drives, and it uses EDS files to transfer comm parameters to an Ethernet/IP processor. The S7-1200 cannot connect to the Ethernet/IP protocol directly over its Ethernet ports. You would need an external gateway to connect the S7-1200 to ethernet/IP. S7-1200 is a Profinet IO controller on its integrated ports, and the Powerflex does have a Profinet option: PowerFlex 20-750-PNET Profinet Single-port Option Module The S7-1200 can alsobe a Profibus-DP master, if you use the CM 1243-5 module, and use the GSD file provided by Rockwell along with a Profibus slave adapter: PowerFlex 20-750-PBUS Profibus DPV1 Option Hopw this helps, Daniel Chartier |
