We have an application where the clienthave purchasedpowerflex 750drives with ethernet

20-750-ENETR communications adaptors, we are wanting to use S7-1200 plcs to do the control / interfacing.

Is it possible toadd thisbradley communication adaptor into the Siemenslibrary for thedevice/network topology?

Allen Bradley use mostly EDS files though they havesome limited GSD files.

Any help/ideas on this would be appreciated

The 20-750-ENETR is an Ethernet/IP comm. card for Rockwell drives, and it uses EDS files to transfer comm parameters to an Ethernet/IP processor. The S7-1200 cannot connect to the Ethernet/IP protocol directly over its Ethernet ports. You would need an external gateway to connect the S7-1200 to ethernet/IP.

S7-1200 is a Profinet IO controller on its integrated ports, and the Powerflex does have a Profinet option:

The S7-1200 can alsobe a Profibus-DP master, if you use the CM 1243-5 module, and use the GSD file provided by Rockwell along with a Profibus slave adapter:
