Hello Denis S120 can be ordered directly on Digital Input? So can not control servomotors? Thank! |

S110 traversing blocks can be controlled with digital inputs. If positions & speed are fixed for the application, then pulse/direction interface described above is not needed. The entire control can be accomplished with digital IO. Encoder can plug either in the built-in connector on the CU305. If the DriveCLiQ encoder is used, it will plug into the DriveCliQ port on the controller. Also, an SMC module can be used for encoder interface: SMC10, SMC20 or SMC30 depending on the encoder type. Connections diagrams and descriptions can be found in the Sinamics S110 Equipment Manual. |

Hi, you don't need EM253. You can use internal PTO-Outputs of PLC. Here is an application example where a S110 is used with pulse/direction interface. As PLC a S7-1200 is used, but with S7-200 it is akin. Controlled positioning with S7-1200 via pulse/direction interface (CE-X7) If you want to use EM253, then you find here an older application with S7-200 Micro Automation: Controlled Positioning of an Axis with Stepper Motor Using the Example of a "Cutting-to-Length" Process incl. HMI Configuration (MAE 10) Maybe you should think about buying new S7-1200 system. it's more easier there and I think also more cheaper instead of buying one or more EM253. regards |
