Also, the other pc must be able to ping that plc address. If your computer is on your company network and your plc address is something like 192.168.0.10, you may have difficulty communicating unless your subnet mask is something crazy like 0.0.0.0, but then you may not be able to access the internet. If you have a spare usb ethernet adapter, you can test your other computer by adding that network adapter, connecting to the plc, putting the new adapter on the same subnet as your plc, and then it should work, providing your browser is one of the above supported ones. |
