CPU1214C with IPC277E and OPC Server

did someone find something?

I have a similar problem.

I have a CPU1214C connected with an IPC277E with WinCC RT Adv. (v13 Sp1 Up 6)

At this step everything is fine but then when I add my OPC Server, it switch my HMI connection into Softbus.

After that my IPC and my PLC aren't working together.

I worked on this to find out a better solution and I want to share it. 

I put the S7 connexion and the HMI connexion on the same port, and this time it works well with the Softbus connexion. 

In the IPC properties I forgott to select the Station PC.

Take care that on the IPC the Station Configuration Editor has the same name as in the project and that the Index is corresponding to the HW-Config.

It happens to me often that after a migration to TIA Portal I get "Softbus" in the "Interface" of the HMI connection parameter.

The simpliest way I found to get "Ethernet" as I wanted is:

• Go in the "Properties" of the PC station
• In the "XDB configuration" tab, uncheck "S7RTM is installed (for example the SIMATIC NET PC software)"

You should now have "ETHERNET" instead of "Softbus" in the properties of the HMI connection.

Thanks I made it too, but then I had a problem with the OPC Server when I tried to load the IPC.

It's going fine with the configuration (with softbus) I posted just before your comment.
