Riko Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I would like to ask how to link my plc with the AC drive. I already try to use PC/PG and I get the Profibus 1.5mbps. But I could not find any target device in my Starter software. I opened the starter from the PLC. Thank you so much guys. Please help.

Can you find the PLC in accessible nodes in Simatic Manager? Which Starter Version and which CU Version do you use? Is the CU powered Up correctly , how is the LED state of the CU? Regards Christoph

Riko Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	Dear Christoph, I can found the address in the accessible node. The LED is fine, no error. I think is the firmware issue. Since my GSD only can support v4.6 . Do you know how to get the v4.7 for CU240E-2DP? I tried using the Sinamic G120 CU240x-2DP(F) v4.7 GSD with standard telegram 1, PZD 2/2 put it in the Profibus node but it is not showing in the station. Any solution for this.. Thank you so much..

In the first post you write that nothing is found, in the second you write it is found. The GSD can not be the problem if the Slave is not found in accessible nodes! Which Address you have set on the Switches for DO Adress on the CU ? Riko Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	Hi, Sorry for not giving you a good explanation. My bad. My step on doing it. 1. Use the CU240E-2dp GSD v4.6, the drive station is appear. Use the CU240x-2DP GSD v4.7, the drive station is not appear. 2. Using the CU240E-2DP. CPU profibus address set to 10 and drive profibus address set to 1. 3. Compile and download the hardware. 4. Open the starter commisioning software, check the accessible node and found the profibus address for cpu and drive. 5. try to connect to select target, select the G120 drive. The error came out. Set PC/PG -> Profibus 1.5mbps. Drive switches I set it as 1. I have checked on the parameter for the switches address it is 1. Simatic manager v5.5 Starter version is 4.3.3 component SSP sinamics v4.6 installed Thank you. Attachment Photo.rar (189 Downloads)

It looks that the devices can be found but not identified. Can you start the accessible nodes in SIMATIC Manager and open the Device Diagnostics of the PLC? If this not works then it looks like a problem with the PC Adapter. Regards Christoph

Do you have some sample for ladder programming to send data to the drive. Something like set the setpoint. Seems like the one I tried is not working maybe wrong. Thank you so much.
