CPU316 and OB36 Problem!

haquang Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I'm using CPU 316 (316- 2AG00- 0AB0) for my application. I have some trouble with downloading the OB36. In fact, I can download all other OB block except OB36. I need this block in my application. So, anyone can give me a comment to get me out of this problem??? wait for any comments! Haquang

daga Gold Member Joined: 3/18/2009 Last visit: 5/6/2024 Posts: 306 Rating: (94)	There is only one cyclic interrupt OB available inCPU 316, which is OB35. Hence you are not able to download OB36. Your only option is to either avoid OB36 in your SW or change the CPU.

Haquang Like already said, use OB35 instead. Set the scan time for OB35 to the correct value (inside HW-Config)

In technical data tab you would see that number of watchdog interrupts is 1 (OB35). You can switch again to Entries tab and make a filter with manuals instead of all typesso you can find all manualsof this CPU. From the three manuals that are found, you can chose S7-300 Instruction List CPU Specifications CPUs 312 IFM to 318-2 DPwhere you can find the data youwere looking for. I always do my search this way and I hope you find it easy and useful. Best regards. H-H
