Hello me88; None of the S7-300 CPUs can support H-system setups; not all of the S7-400 CPUS can. Only 3 models of H-CPUs exist in the S7-400 family, that support synchronisation modules and.H-programming. https://eb.automation.siemens.com/goos/catalog/Pages/ProductData.aspx?catalogRegion=ww&language=en®ionUrl=%2f&activetab=order&nodeID=10044658#activetab=product If your process is not critical and can stand second-long rollover from active CPU to standby, there is a Software Redundancy option that you could implement on S7-300 CPUs: SIMATIC S7-300/S7-400 Software redundancy for SIMATIC S7 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
