CPU928B communication with PC having S5 software

Hello sreeram; To communicate to a PG with SI 2 interface, you will need a "PG Submodule" (part no. 6ES5 752-0AA53) and a 6ES5743-2xxx0 cable (with TTY converter, as you pointed out). These are not listed on Siemn's A&D Mall anymore, but you can find them, used or repaired, from special dealers. Hello, there are some TTY interfaces, active or passive, available on the Internet. Also units with USB interface... just take a look. Best regards J_Bell |
