Create AddIn for Graphic Designer usin VS.Net 2005

mara Posts: 62 Rating: (2)	Hi all! I would like to create add in for Graphic Designer (similar to SICAM Toolbox). I would like to have menu containing 3-4 buttons. That buttons will have some functions written in VB (i have wrote them in Visual Basic Editor and I would like to call them when someone click on the button in menu). I have found topic in help but it explains how to make add in MS Visual Studio 6.0 not in VS.Net 2005. Any idea? Thank you!

But OK, i have made form in VB with all necessary functions but I have two problems: 1st- how to run that form from Graphic Designer and 2nd-if form is active I cannot press anything in other window (i.e. object in Graphic Designer). I am calling form using FormName.Show method. Is there any way I can select object in Graphic Designer with activated form? Thank you!

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi, unfortunately I don´t have VS.NET on my PCS7-system. But could you compile your code as ActiveX, too? http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/9927882 or use libraries in WinCC: "View >Library" or work with faceplates/picture windows? nemo
