Hello everyone,

I need to create a password for Miniweb/HTML pages from TIA Portal.

I have a TP700 Comfort HMI panel installed in a remote location. I have a remote connection to PC which is connected to this HMI and S7-1500 PLC. PC has TIA Portal v15.1.

I have created an Alarm log file in Historical Date and it is saved in HMI SD card memory. I need to access this file remotely, from PC.

I activated HTML pages in TIA Portal and loaded it to HMI. Now I can access the Miniweb but it is asking me for a login to be able to access files.

I have seen in some manuals that I need to create a login and password in “WinCC Internet Settings” on the HMI itself but unfortunately, I am not on-site and I can not ask someone on site to do it for me.

My question: Is there a way to create a login and password to access Miniweb from TIA Portal? Or is there another way I can access this log file stored in HMI SD card from TIA Portal or PC connected to the HMI and PLC?

Hi, 

If I understand you correctly what you want:

For the Webserver you have to set a Username and Password in the WInCC Internet Settings -> "Webserver" -> User Administration (HMI control panel). 

Define a new User and set the Authorisations.

Step by step in uploaded docx. 

Hope this helps. 

P.S. create also button on the HMI which will open you control panel (then you don't need any person on the site, you can do everything remote).

Thank you for the guide.

I have activated "Sm@rtServer" and "HTML pages" and loaded the project to HMI. Ass per your guide, first screenshot.

When I open Internet Explorer and I go to the HMI IP address I am asked to login. See attached photos.

How can I get to the second and third screens from your guide to set up login and password from PC or TIA Portal without touching HMI itself?

How you did screenshots for your guide? How you opened these screens on your PC?

Ass I mentioned in my first post, I do not have fiscal access to HMI because it is in a remote location. 

And one more question about "button on the HMI which will open you control panel"?

I can create a button on HMI screen with the "OpenControlPanel" function. I've seen that I can even create a button with the "OpenControlPanelDialog" function and specify to open directly "WinCC Internet Settings" dialog but how it may help me if cannot access the physical HMI?

How it will help me with Remote Access?

There should be a way to access HMI Miniweb/HTML or Sm@rtServer without being present in front of HMI.

If someone needs further information to better understand my problem, please let me know.

anyway, to get to the Wincc Internet settings:

1- unplug and re-Plug again the  24vdc power supply of the HMI

2 -press at the Settings

3-you can see the the Wincc Internet settings.
