hello,

I need help in creating another instance of the same project running on another PC even if it doesn't have the capability of creating a database. 

I was thinking of adding another device on the SIMATIC PC station but don't know how to do that, can someone help?

I do not understand your usecase, please can you describe it in a different way?

DO you want to start a second instance of a RUntime on the same PC? or do you want to load the Advanced RT into more thatn one PCs?

It wold be good if you write an example or something that we can understand better?

you can load one WinCC Advanced Project to more than one PC, if you use "Set IP Adress on Device" setting in the IP Settings of the PC Station. But its also not that important because in a normal situation you will only load the WinCC advanced RT Project without HW config of the PC Station (only if you need simatic Net Components).

But if you want to lock the Stations against each other then you have to make a difference in the projets so you have to use the PLC or a communication with OPC or HTTP Channel that you can lock the Operations against each other.

You also can use one Server Projet on one PC and load only a Project with a Smart Client View to the other PC. Then you can remote Control the Server PC from the "Client".

But then you only have the same screens on each Station (VNC).

But here you can use the functions of Smart Server to prevent simultanious operations.
