CU240E-2 PN E telegram 352 PZD-6/6 extension

Hi,

I would like to control CU240-2 PN E (6SL3244-0BB12-1FA0) via ProfiNet.

In general i use Telegram 352 PZD-6/6

PLC->VFD

PZD01 - Control Word.

PZD02 - Speed Setpoint

PZD03 - PZD06 - spare

VFD -> PLC

PZD01 - Status Word

PZD02 - Speed Actual

PZD03 - Current Actual

PZD04 - Torque Actual

PZD05 - Warn Code

PZD06 - Fault Code

In my connection there is isolator connected to VFD DI0 and temperature sensor to VFD TemperatureInput. How can i get information about isolator state and temperature to my PLC? The only option is to use Free Telegram?

I would highly recommend to do it this way...

Use standard telegram 352 and add supplementary data as a new telegram slot. This brings the advantage that you have one separate slot and Hardware ID for telegram 352 and you can use the SINA_SPEED FB from the LSinaExt library to control the drive in a simple way from your PLC program - find the lib here:

The added supplementary data gets its own Hardware ID (address to PLC) so you can read that data from your PLC program for example by using the GETIO function. 

So add 2 supplementary words to your drive. To the first one you connect the DI in one bit and in the second word you connect the AI value of the sensor.

Thank you for your answer. It's almost clear for me.

1. To the standard telegram 352 i will add "Send extension (Actual value)" with lenght of 2 words.

2. In the Drive -> Parameters -> i will configure on the 1st -digital input (DI_0) status and on the he          2nd temperature input (Temperature input 14/15).

I try to find both parameters in the parameters list but with no success.

You will want to select parameters from the Control Unit, not the drive object with the motor module. 

 Could you explain it a little bit more?

As it is a G120 drive there is just 1 Drive Object - so no differenciation between CU and drive etc.

For the DI I think you first need to connect the r722.x to a Binector-Connector converter - and the result of the converted word can be then connected to the added PZD. I think you cannot see it in the list because the digital inputs are bits and the wizard is looking for integer/word parameters to connect.

Regarding digital input i think i found the parameter in BICO: "722 CO: CU digital inputs status".

What about temperature input T1/T2 (pin 14/15) connected to VFD?
