simaticmanager Posts: 150 Rating: (5)	hi all i have a cu305Can, How can i go on;line through starter. Which cable i should use. I understand it has a serial port (but male) i tried using a serial cable (2-3,3-2,5-5) but cant get drive online. Why in manual it says serial ppi download option but serial PPI cable has Male D connector which need a Female D connector on drive. Further if i try to do factory setting via P10=30 , It starts showing fault F1000 i.e internal software error. which do not get reseted. Only power recycle is the option for reseting the fault, pls help regards simatic manager

simaticmanager Posts: 150 Rating: (5)	dear sir thnks for reply i used same cable but not done. i think some problem in CU It was Showing f 1000 fault. Then i factory reset the CU using P976 Now its in Ready state but showing only Drive Object 01 Again i tried to communicate but not done. i think i need to change the cu and check again regards simaticmanager
