CU310-2PN and TIA V15.1

Hi to all,

TIA V15.1 is arrived.. i have seen many news in this version.

The CU310 is not still available in startdrive, is there any reason? Because i am using it always in my machine..

Yes you can use Booksize with CU320-2 PN. ´CU310PN is still not available.

@gigi_plc can you let me know if the configuration worked by you . i also have to configure a S120 CU310-2 PN to use on TIAv15.0  . till now what i have understood is that one has to do the commisioning on the starter tool . there is a GSDML file for CU310-2 PN in TIA , but how to configure the adresses and stuff. 

i didn't get what do you mean by booksizing CU-320 PN .

help would be highly appriciated .

but seriously the manuals are so complex and the configuration stuff is so mixed up that for a person who is commisioning Siemens FU system for the first time its almost impossible to understand. searching for the solution i found 80% of the people who were also lost in the same problem without any clear solutuion. people like you are the only way to move forward .

actually i am still working with CU310 on my machine and there is no problem to use it with TIA V15.0. If you need a program example write to me. You have to use starter and not startdrive but this can be not a problem because startdrive sometime is very slow.. starter works very well.

actually i already got the program from you once . i have to control the position of my axis with the SINA_POS block in the library functions i think , saw it some where. once i am finished with this i would try to export it with the GSDML tool and import in TIA portal. there i would use the SINA_POS block to control the axis . i hope i am going in the right direction .

The problem where i am stuck right now is selecting the telegramm in starter . my system is as i have attached in the pictures . 

i have just two tasks .i have to control the position, and according to the designer i have to use enable signal for the drive on pin 16 and 17  . i have already configured the system components in the Starter tool .
