CU320-2 DP - how to understand what licenses are installed?

the DCB Extension license is only needed if there are DCC blocks used in the DCC chart which are not from the standard DCC library.

There are additional libraries available (e.g. math_extended or GMC library,...) which would need this license if they are used.

The standard DCC blocks can be used without any runtime license.

DCB Extension was available from FW 4.6 or higher so you cannot have DCB Extension libraries in your device.

 in the documentation for our existing project I found a page  (I think this is a print from the Starter project)

is this a standard feature or need an additional license?

how to understand what licenses are installed? maybe this can be seen through Starter or AOP?

or i can believe nameplate CF card?

no, you cannot always believe the CF card's nameplate because it is possible to buy licenses at a later point and activate them on the CF card.

The STO function is a standard safety function and no license is needed for that.

Finding out the used / necessary licenses for sure was a little bit difficult with the old Starter and firmware versions. With the latest Starter there is an option to see the licenses by clicking right on the drive unit -> license overview. There you would see which licenses are needed and which ones are also activated. With the older versions you don't have this overview.

If you want to see if there are any licenses on the card you could plug the card to your computer and check if there is a "KEYS" folder on the card and if yes you can check how many entries there are in the .txt file. But this also does not really show which license it is.

In your case for STO and Standard DCC (from DCC catalog) , no need of any license. 

With the help of CF card Serial no you can find in License manager. you need to go to License manager . If your license is available it will show. IF not available it will show error.
