CU320 v2.6 download problems

Ziemens Silver Member Joined: 3/2/2007 Last visit: 10/11/2024 Posts: 938 Rating: (5)	We have a project containing the following: - SIMOTION D445 - 3 x SINAMICS CU320 V2.6 We are using SCOUT V4.1.2.4, where I have configured the SIMOTION D445 with SINAMICS CU320 V2.5 integrated and 3 x SINAMICS CU320 V2.6.1. The problem occurs while downloading the program to any of the CU320 V2.6. The following is displayed in the Target System Output: “Error while generating target topology parameters (p9902 and p9903)”. Download progress stops at 74% while “Initialization of the internal data structures of the drive is running.” After a long time waiting, an error appears: “Error occurred while downloading (WWBS:896)” The following is displayed in the Target System Output: “Unspecified Error.The following devices are not consistent online: D445.Error on: Load.Unspecified Error (ret=0xbe0bffff)” Knowing that when uploading from any CU320, no problem occurs. What can be the problem? Is there a difference between “CU320 V2.6” and “CU320 V2.6.1” ? Thank you,

JakitGT Posts: 31 Rating: (0)	Ziemens, First things first... - Make sure you have the Sinamics 2.6.1 SSP(Sinamics Support Package)installed in Scout. Download SSP Here - Your CU320s' CF cards have 2.6.1 firmware loaded It might be a good idea, to backup the current CF cards, delete all the files except for the "Keys" folder, then load a fresh copy of the firmware. - The CU320s' version is set to 2.6.1 in SCOUT. (Right-click->target device->device version) - Perform a consistency check - (Control+Alt+K) and look for any errors. - Save & Recompile all - Download Let me know if this helps JakitGT

Ziemens Silver Member Joined: 3/2/2007 Last visit: 10/11/2024 Posts: 938 Rating: (5)	Hy, we solved it but it looks really strange: it turned out that we cannot download to the cu320 unless we have inserted at least one drive in the project (even if it does not really exist)!! The software needs some improvements to avoid such problems or at least indicate clearly the remedy in the messages displayed…Anyway, thanks for your support…
