cursor keys do not work (LOGO TD)

Chekby Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Good morning gentlemen, I used the Soft Comfort apply once to program the cursor keys to control the current level of a device. However, the cursor keys did not work with LOGO TD. What can I do? Once you have the cursor keys to the equipment. Thank you for your attention.

However, I have done wrong .. so here we go: I used the cursor key, setting the same as "Momentary pushbutton (make)", just do this or some additional configuration is required? Toeternietoe Platinum Member Joined: 12/27/2006 Last visit: 11/29/2024 Posts: 1197 Rating: (113)	You have to press ESC & Cursor key at the same time. Setting of a momentary (pulsar) or kontakt (Interruptor) is only working in the simulation mode (LOGO!Soft)

Paulvdb Posts: 21 Rating: (2)	Have tried this too ... the cursor keys never work perfect (even with ESC key pressed at the same time) I tried this on a LOGO 5 and 6... none work good. My logo had to be operated in a factory by operators who don't have the time to "fiddle around" with buttons that don't work perfect. So I ended up adding "real" push buttons to my design... too bad ... I hope that Siemens does something about this in a next version...

Oliver Gonzalez Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Based on my experience, using the included cursor buttons as HMI (human machine interface = operator buttons) only leads to problems. Why? Because all the dirt gets inside the LOGO! through the buttons and then nothing works. It´s advisable to use good quality pushbuttons for operators, otherwise they will blame all your good work and your machine will be said to be a rubish only for the cost of a few buttons.
