Paresh Posts: 116 Rating: (1)	You need to consider following points 1. First decide communication baud rate 2. Depending on that baud rate calculate maximun diastance between two slaves without repeater and maximum number of slaves can be connected without repeater. 3. You have to also consider maximum distance between two repeaters since according to my knowledge, it is always smaller than that of between two slaves 4. According to me, each repeater also acts as a node in 485 network. Please confirm this and make your netwoek accordingly. I think you can get this information from any Profibus repeater manual. I am sorry but I don't know part number of such repeater. Thanks and Regards Paresh
