Custom Help Creation in Step 7?

It had to do with creating custom help screens with some authoring tool such as RoboHelp, then registering the screens so Step 7 knew they existed. This would be especially useful for documenting user-created S7 blocks. Can anyone lead me to that FAQ or other posting of this information? Thanks in advance! Best Regards, Joel Koblich

In the online help of STEP 7 is described how you can make an own Bibliothek. You can give a symbolic name for the FC/FB and by the Simatic Manager under Details you can see the symbolic name (short describtion of function). In PCS7 there is a possibility (see in the manual). Bilal Moolla Posts: 133 Rating: (8)	Hi You can download a free software called Helpmaker. You can add custom help for your own blocks when pressing F1. It is not specifically for PCS7. If you are creatind your block with SCL you can incorporate this information into your help file. Kind Regards Bilal Moolla
