kuarto112 Posts: 15 Rating: (1)	Hello! I have created 2 Customized Objects and in the configuration I have put diferents names in "Obj. Type". The problem is when I use the SreenItems("MyObject").Type property, all the Customized Objects in .Type have the same value "HMIScreenModule". I'd like to distinguish the objects in Runtime... Help me... Thanks!

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Hi, You should not use the object.type cause this is the same for every type of object. Like two circles named "round1" and "round2" have the same object.type "HMICircle". If you want to distinguish you should use the object.objectname With regards.

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	As far as I know it can not be done. The types are the same for every customised object (therfore it is a customised object and not e.g. a Circle). You can only distinguish by objectname if you have more then one object of the same type. But please correct me if I'm wrong. with regards

I thought that It was possible because in the configuration of the customised object you can write the Object Type but then all the objects have the same type ("HMIScreenModule"). It could be very interesting...

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	I can not think of anything that that would be usefull (yet). If you were able to do that, you could also change the type of a customised object into "HMICircle" for instance. That should give you also the property "Radius" cause that's a circle property, but when trying to change radius in runtime of that customised object he will never find that property and .... error. Therefore both objects are of type customised object. Just a thought, is it possible that you are being misunderstood? Is it the type of the objects within the customised object that you wish to access? Regards, Salma
