Hi, I am struggling with CX32-2 modules connected to a D445-2 When I have made offline changes and I wish to download to CX32-2 modules, then it fails consistently. See attached screenshots. The download continues until 86% (Initialisation of internal data structures) where it sits for upto 10 minutes. Eventually, it fails with an unspecified error. After this, it is impossible to reconnect to the module. Only a power cycle resurrects it due to the RAM to ROM not being performed. I have had some success with making online changes and then uploading to the PG, but sometimes, the consistency checks fail even after a "save and compile all". Is there something I should or should not be doing when using CX32-2 modules. The other devices in my project like the Sinamics_Integrated and the fiveother CU320-2's are behaving correctly. Hello, this problem sounds like a FW Crash. you can make a factory Reset on the CX32 before you download. Regards Christoph |

Hey Christoph, I tried the Factory Reset, this worked ok. When I download, can I download the CX32-2 as a discreet device or do I need to re-download the hardware configuration of the D445 first. See attached, I selected only the CX32 after a factory reset and tried to download, it froze at 70% and eventuallyfailed. Hello, normaly you do not need a download of the HW Config when you only set the cx to factory. regards Christoph |
