Ssc_Mikro Posts: 196 Rating: (12)	Hello Is there a way to get the execution time in uS from a s7 s7 315DP/PN CPU. I am familiar with the SFC65510 Time_uS but it only working with the S7 4xx systems. Any one got at tip how to fetch the information out. At the moment I use SFC1 (clock) af IEC fc8 to read out the time. And sub those two values from each other. I use those information to see the execution time my functions blocks is requiring. And how much time program load I have in my interrupts. Bedst Regars.... Søren Mikro.....

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	Create 2 FCs - FC1 will contain CALL FC2 , call FC2, call FC2... (100 times) and empty FC2. Download them, CALL FC1 from OB1, download OB1 and scan cycle time. How you know what time is requred to call empty FC2. Then in FC2 you write CALL FCx (what you want to test).Download, scan cycle time. Nowyouhave2scantimes: 1. Your programm + empty FC2 (55ms for example) 2. Your programm with additional 100 CALLs of FCx (130ms for example). Now (130(ms) - 55(ms))/100 (time you call FC2) = 0,75 ms average is required for each CALL FCx. Now you can just replace FCx by FBy and calculate time for FBy inthesamemanner.

When you call FCx in FC2, that command is also executed 100 times in a scan which can bevery less timebut you are looking for uS values.It would bemoreaccurateto replace all the FC2 calls in FC1 with FCx. A Search and replace could do this.

Divide the result per 1000. Now you have the exection time. Code example: L 1000 next: T MW 0 // insert yuor code here L MW 10 LOOP next
