cyclic execution of a script

bermuda Posts: 151 Rating: (3)	hello i have a question in vb script. iwrote a script in my monitoring systemthat executeswhen i click a push button. how can i change the script execution type? i want my script executes in a cyclic manner without any conflict in other part of my existing wincc pictures and my monitoring system. thanks

Indunil Posts: 33 Rating: (2)	hello, Several methods might be available for perticular application. I've include one method. 1.) Insert a IO Field obect(Output) in your screen and set visible property to false. So no one can see it in your RT. 2.) Tag bit and asigned with your PLC memory bit (bool type) 3.) Write your script in change event of the IO Field object 4.) Cyclic your memory bit in your PLC program as disired. Enjoy it

bermuda Posts: 151 Rating: (3)	hello dear Indunil thanks for uour suggestionit's good but my communication channel is gprs and i can't send a bit all of the time! i think there is a way in wincc flexible that we able to execute script in cyclic manner.

Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (190)	Hello, You can use the Scheduler in WinCC flexible. You can start the script about different event of scheduler. It should no scripts run in the loop. Throughthem or too many scripts, itcan come to performance losses. Tweety

bermuda Posts: 151 Rating: (3)	hello tweety thanks for your reply. i want to use a script to read some values from a database for example each 1s. i can read the values with clicking a push button and running my script but i want to read values for example each 1s not by clicking a push button. what do i have to do?

You could try to make a loop in script and check for change in time. This will MAYBE work. Try it in real life to see if it makes working with HMI too slow. Write script something like this: if (Second(Now) <> last_second) then your_code_here end if last second = Second(Now) There are maybe some options with ActiveX components, but I don't know much about that.
