D410-2 - Axis Moving automatically

We are have operated the "Servo drive" from control panel and also done closed loop optimisation. However when we try to operate the "AXIS" fromAxis Control Panel, the axis starts moving immediately on enabling the "Enable signals", although no positioningcommand to is given to the axis. As a result the axis immediately trips on "Standstill monitoring Error". Increasing the "Standstill Monitoring" limit is not useful as the Axis is actually moving. We have commissioned similar systems before without any such issues. What possibly could be the problem ? Thanks Navnag

casajr Posts: 153 Rating: (8)	Check your settings in Axis:Mechanics to see if it reversed there. Ihad a similar situationbefore when I wanted to count down, not up on forward motion (silly me). It can also be done at the Sinamics level (I don't remember the parameter though).

It could be also the power cable with phases swapped creating this issue. pigroplc Thanks pigroplc Customer had used a normal cable instead of Motion Connect which probably had the phases reversed. The problem was solved when we replaced the cable with a standard Motion Connect Cable the problem was solved. Cheers Navnag
