D410 and CPU315F

Simotion Posts: 223 Rating: (1)	Is there a possibility to connect all my safety on a CPU315F that is configured as a slave to the profibus of the D410(profibus master)and to control the drive safety? I know it is possible when the D410 is slave and the 315F master, but in that case I cannot connect decentral IO on my D410.

But see press release: http://www.siemens.com/press/en/pressrelease/?press=/en/pressrelease/2011/drive_technologies/idt2011114003.htm The new D410-2 DP will have 2 PROFIBUS interfaces. (.... but you have to wait -- available 2nd quarter of 2012) Regards Jerry
