i have ktp 1200 2. generation and simotion d425-2 dp.

can i communicate them via simotion op port ? Because my simotion d is not profinet.

I am puzzled too, if there's no profinet, it is possible to use i-device without buying a profibus card for 1200 ?

Not so sure, the guys from Siemens told me (1yr ago) that only comfort panels are supported for Simotion.

 Not really, Marko, we have used 4-5 basic panels 7" flawlessly with simotion. THe problem is that they cannot handle the tech alarm as the comforts do...

A pity of course, but for the rest they work
