D445-2DP-PN HMI Communication Problem

ismailozen7 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone, we want to connect hmi and 4 simotion d445-2dp-pn unit. We can add one simotion unit and hmi. when we want to add 2 simotion unit to the tia portal first simotion tags normal but other simotion unit tags have red cross. we are using profinet communication. Have you any solution about it?

Technology Team Platinum Expert Joined: 10/11/2006 Last visit: 4/17/2025 Posts: 6008 Rating: (827)	Hello does the single connection to each simotion work? if not --> first of all prefere upgrade V13 to SP2 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/89331880 Independent from some restrictions you also can collect data from the each other CPU's only in one SIMOTION which is connected to HMI. Communication mechanism between other SIMOTION-CPU's could be I-device or TCP/IP (using Library LCOM, very easy to realize) or OPC-UA .
