nforbes Posts: 65 Rating: (1)	Hi, I am using a D445 but the controller is struggling to boot, I have loaded a card with firmware 4.2: (D4xx_V42SP1HF12_S120_V26SP2HF13.zip) All indicator LEDs on the front of the controller are solid orange on start-up and do not change from this. Can someone suggest a fix for this please . Thanks Neill

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 4/17/2025 Posts: 22620 Rating: (3060)	Hello, this means internal SW Fault! Have you only the FW on the Card or some older project too? If you have a project then delete/Rename the USER Folder and boot Up only with the FW. Regards Christoph

nforbes Posts: 65 Rating: (1)	No, the card has been completely wiped and only the firmware from the below link is used (I have tried versions 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2), I deleted the USER folder anyway and nothing has changed. I have also kept the KEYS folder in the card while changing the firmware. The card was previously used for a CU320-2 but I don't think this will matter. Thanks Neill

There are different Bootloaders on the cards. An then the 7 segment should not display only a ´"F.". There should be a Code like "f-1." Regards Christoph

Card Adapter. But note that the licences from the CF Card where you get the Image not working on the new Card! Depends on which Scout Version do you use you can try to install the Bootsector with the Scout, in the options menu of scout should be a entry for "write Bootloader" Regards Christoph

nforbes Posts: 65 Rating: (1)	Hello, I have tried the bootloader for the D445 and am still receiving "Memory card without valid MLFB in the boot loader sectors" in the diagnostics buffer. I am able to go online to the D445, but am unable to connect to the sinamics integrated. I am currently using bootloader D4xx_D4x5_2_boot1024.bin with the most recent firmware version V4.2/2.6. Is this the correct setup? Thanks Neill
