D445 with CBE 30 to CU320 with CBE20

barkerb Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	I have 6 motor modules connected to a CU320 which is connected to a 445 with profinet. I can insert the CBE20 in the HW Config and add the drive objects just fine. My question is - How do I tie them to the Drive Cliq Profibus configuration for the modules. I assume that drive object 1 in the hardware setup is the CU module itself and should be configured with Telegram 390. That would make drive objects 2-7 be the drives and I configured them with telegram 105 so I could use DSC. Now comes the problem- Which drive is drive object 2. Is it object 1 in the profibus message frame configuration or is it No. 1. The drives need to be inserted as drives in Scout so you can define the topology. I can create an axis with just knowing that it is drive 1 or 2 or whatever, and checking the I and O addresses. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Bob

Thanks --> whitch SCOUT version you are using? --> are you sure that you configured the PROFINET networkwell (don't forget to use IRT and to configure the topology) With SCOUT V4.1, SP1 the DRIVE name is shown when you configure a SIMOTION axis (see attachment) Attachment Screen.jpg (925 Downloads)

When you assuming an axis to a drive object there will no name displayed in 4.0.0.8 because there is no mecanism to tranfer the PROFIBUS Configuration data from Scout to HW- Config. In V4.0 you must configure the telegrams HW- Config and in SINAMICS Configuration Dialog from SINAMICS S120 both manually and consistency by yourself.
