EDS have the HA7E a RS232 to 1-Wire interface designed to provide an ASCII command set for RS232 serial hosts that need to accommodate Dallas Semiconductor iButton and 1-Wire devices. So you could use the CM1241 RS232 & HA7E to communicate with the DS18S20 http://www.embeddeddatasystems.com/HA7E--ASCII-1-Wire-Host-Adapter_p_21.html Avaiable from UK |

I do have a HA7E and a CM1241. I'm only getting fault code 7000 when trying to send a command to the HA7E. Do anyone have this up running ? |

Alternatively you can build this simple electronic circuit http://www.electro-tech-online.com/electronic-projects/87533-one-wire-temperature-sensor-ds1820-pc-interface.html |
