Dear Friends,
i want some suggestions & guideline how to communicate S7-300 plc with some danfoss drive.  I have a system with 22 danfos drive (FCD322) which i have to control from S7-300 CPU. I have not chosen the cpu but it will be a s7-300 DP as the danfoss drive supports profibus dp. Please suggest me in details cause i did not networked any profibus dp system before. let me know how to configure the network and how to read/write data to the drive.please help me in this matter. Also see the attachment for the drive details.

Danfoss has setup its line of Profibus-enabled drives to follow the Profidrive profile, using PPOx telegrams, and PZD (Process Data) and PKW (Parameter value) sections of the Profibus telegram. This is very similar to the MM4 line of drives from Siemens. These sample programs may help you start on Profibus communications between a S7 CPU and a drive:
