Data logging in tp700 comfort

Bronze Member Joined: 12/13/2013 Last visit: 11/12/2024 Posts: 135 Rating: (3)	Dear all In my project i use tp700 comfort together with s7 200 cpu 224 xp cn, I want to record my process values in csv and extact it for further analysis. i manage to do it form my PLC through s7 200 explorer But i need my HMI to do the same thing. I have configuerd historical data as you can see on attached screen shoot. But i can't get the expected excel file after run my project on my HMI. is there Any thing else to do? Please guide me as usual if i am in wrong way, I am teaching my self from scrach with the help of this Forum. Thank you in advance Attachment data log.jpg (2570 Downloads)

You can find the option either as a column in the table "Data logs" or in the properties of the data log in tab "Restart behavior". see also this faq: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/89855157 K!ke

Dear K!ke Thank you for replying, Yes i did that as you can see on the attached screen shoot, most of the Letreature talk about VB script writing, Is it must for my need? K!ke Posts: 1299 Rating: (136)	Hello, it's not essential to use vb script. but in many cases vb script is useful. With the Script in my previous post you can for example check if the sd card is ready to write the log. This might be a cause why your logging doesn't start Did you download the project and start the logging on the panel or did you just simulate it? K!ke

Dear K!ke I down load it to the panel and start it. i do not do nothig on the panel to start logging. Do i expect to do some thing? after some munite i stop run time and tried to open file from excel application on my HMI but i only got empty folder with the name SIEMENS which i do not creat it. about vb script case, Because I have to train myself abut it, it will take me time and it will not be Write solution for my current need, i prefer if there is some other way out. Thank you!

Now I use for the first time an SD memory card in a Comfort panel (the one that Siemens preconize, 2GB) but it do not work. When I configure the Comfort panel for keeping the historical data on a USB then it is working OK, but when I use the exactly same application with an SD card (and change the storage location to \Storage Card \SD) then there is always an archive error and nothing on the card.On the card in my laptop I have access but it is empty. I do not think that the new card is damaged. The card is plugged in the left slot, used for the memory data. Does someone have an idea or what doing I wrong? I'm using TIA. Thanks and best regards I am facing with same problem like your case but mine is not working nither in usb tumb nor sd card. Please give me some clue to procide. Regards

Now i am able to record my process values in SD Card After Re installing fresh copy of win7 and also wincc TIA portal. But I have two things to ask for you [snip] ...
