ALGUDKAR RAO Posts: 621 Rating: (10)	hi experts, From pc can i connect to s7-1200plc directly over the ethernet link?do i need any software/hardware for this in pc side ?this is for reading plc tags and storinng the excel format.if i use ktp hmi and try to dump the data from hmi to pc over the ethernet switch? what is the procedure? regards., algudkar

Zunar Posts: 60 Rating: (6)	Would an OPC solution work for you? If so, you might consider using one of Siemens OPC servers for this. They work well with the S7-1200.
