Data processing : Word_to_Struct (16bits)

Hello everyone,

I am having some issue to process data from a Bizerba iS30 through Profinet, as shown on the pictures attached.

Indeed, the data are successfully read and are copy to a DB using DPRD_DAT (REAL, BYTE, etc.).

However, this doesn't work for the Struct type of my DB. I imagine it has to be copied to a word using DPRD_DAT and then transfered bit by bit. My issue is there : how can I copy the data of a word into a struct of 16bits?

I already tried to use a MOVE or MOVE_BLK without success and I only have FieldRead or Fieldwrite available under "Legacy", which is likely due to the basic function of our S7-1200.

You can should have a look at the new instructions, Gather and Scatter. They are made for merging bits into Words and the other way around.

I unfortunately don't have access to the function gather / scatter neither.

We end up recording the data using a block DPRD_DAT and assigning every bit to the Structure. That's not really pretty but it does the job.
