Data2Unified 2.2 crashes TIA Portal v17

System.NotSupportedException: Mapping error: Expected type 'System.UInt32', but was 'System.Int32'.

 Best I can tell, this is a C# / .NET error that I can't do anything about. I might be mistaken though, so I added the (edited) diagnostics report for those in the know (rename to .dr to open with the Viewer, I had to rename to .txt to get it to upload).

So, I did some further testing.

- The same project can't be converted in Data2Unified V1.3 and Tia 17, it crashes in similar fashion.

- A new, almost empty (test) project seems to work in both versions, confirming that my setup is able to at least convert simple projects. This leads me to believe something in my project isn't being handled correctly by the Add-ins.

- I tried converting a much simpler project than the one I started with. Unfortunately, that too caused TIA to crash. Again, no proper feedback or other way to find out what element was being parsed as the crash occurred.

- I can't "manually" copy things from the old screens to the new.

I'm going to have to stop here and discuss with my co-workers if we really should be going down this road. While I really like TIA-portal as sort of an IDE, migrating from discontinued hardware to a new platform shouldn't mean having to rely on a dodgy after-market tool that crashes the programming environment leaving only trial and error as a means of figuring out the cause, then spend even more weeks rebuilding what that tool can't handle. If we're gonna have to rebuild everything, we might as well consider switching suppliers. Especially since we can expect the same to happen to our PLC-program when Simotion is getting phased out.
