Database error on CP443-1EX20

RPG Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone, I have a H system with CPUs 414-4H, and CP 443-1EX20-0XE0 v2.0. In the HW Config Catalog, it is v1.0, I hope that's not the problem because the catalog is already updated. My problem is that when I power on the system, if the CPU goes to RUN, the CP443 goes to STOP and INTF (due to error in database), but if I load the hardware on the system, the CPU goes to STOP (due to error of parametrization) and CP443 goes to RUN (due to it accepts its own database). I cannot start the whole system in RUN mode. The CPs are not used as Profinet Controller, but they are only as network cards to connect with other CPUs. Thank you in advance. RPG

jklm Platinum Member Joined: 12/22/2006 Last visit: 1/25/2022 Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, If you look in the chapter "requirements for use" of this manual http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/27013386 you will see that you normally need at least - Step7 V5.4 SP4 - a cpu withFW of at leastV4.5 Do you fulfill these requirements? Special case: In the case of a spare part replacement, or if the functionality of the predecessor module or FW version is sufficient, configuration and diagnosis can also be done with earlier STEP7 versions. The CP can be configured as CP 443-1 (EX20) FW V1.0
