Databridge - Error initialize link

Peter_Berre Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm trying to set up Industrial Databridge to log some data from a process value archive to a csv file. I have WinCC set up to log the required tags, and i've created a databridge project which uses "WinCC OLE DB" as source (generated xml file from WinCC Explorer) and "CSV,TXT" as target. When i try to activate the link in the databridge runtime i get the following log in Trace View: csv_test: Initialize Link csv_test: Error at Initialize Link csv_test: Activate Link csv_test(M): Could not activate consumer. csv_test: Error atActivate Link Does anyone know what could be causing this?

BadBit Posts: 125 Rating: (26)	Hi, I'm tested the connection OLE-DB to CSV, and its working without errors. Please check the correct Datasource -> WinCC-Project.xml. You can create it with "Project XML Export". There is an FAQ, who show the connection "WinCC - OPC to xls". Peter_Berre Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Thanks for your reply. I have created the wincc-project.xml file and selected it as the data source. I can se the tags which have been selected in the "Tag Logging" configuration when i click on "Process Value", so i don't think this is the problem. I can also see the tags through the OPCServer.WinCC server under the Trigger set up, so that seems to be ok too. I have also tried running the demo project on the installation CD, and those links fail with the same error.

BadBit Posts: 125 Rating: (26)	Hello, you are right. I've the same problems with the demo-project. After adapting the file-pathes, the errors comes again. Then I've deleted the connected data-values.Afterwards I've selected the existing target database (winccoledb_english.csv) new and created the same values again. Then the IDB-Connection works without errors. But I dont know where the problems before the changes were. Have a nice day..
