I want to use this configuration to collect the information from a pulse sensor for several months. This pulse sensor will show the consumption of gas meter, so the frequency of this signal is very low, its maximum value is about 1 pulse per minute, its minimum value is about 2 pulses per 5 hours. The objective is to save the number of pulses every 30 minutes for serveral months in someone's house and then to recover the datas from the memory. For exemple: Time Number. I'm new in step 7, could someone give me some advices? Thanks Lily

Setup an on delay timer that goes on every 30 minutes. You can have two timers which one will start the other one every 30 minutes and vice versa 4. Setup a DB which you can save the Date & time of the Day besides the Meter Counter. 5. Setup a function that canread Date & Time andsave it in Data Block 6. Every 30 minutes read Read the Date & Time of CPU and read teh eter Counter and save it in Data Block 7. Make sur you have enough room in your DB for 7 months Is the only task that CPU is taking care of? Ifthe answer is Yes, you may consider replacing this powerfulcpu with something cheaper or even change your method? Regards, Behnam CPU315 <-> S120, How?????
