Date and Time in TIA - S7-300 with KTP1000

Hello guys,

I really need your help. I have project for PLC S7-300 which is configured with HMI KTP1000. There is
function to use HMI time for use it with trendlines and more.. But I need to have always Date and Time from PLC which is saved. 
For understanding - If I switch off the power in the electrical cabinet - later I will have old time for example 01/01/2001.

Do you have same example how to do it? Is enough to make in DB only format and later If I will be online set this time? Can I transfer this DTL format to string and use it in panel? How can I set this time to Alarm table, trendline and etc.?

Does the information in your link (WinCC flexible) also work for WinCC TIAP?
(..it should basically be the same. right?)

finally a tried your manual for time synchronization.. But It doesnt work.. I dont know what I can do bad - but I am not able to start Run Time in TIA portal.. If I want set the PG/PC Interface - I use MPI for this step the button for run time is still DEAD. I finished the program with visualization but If I connect the profibus PLC - HMI it shows me alarm: Date/time could not be set, error code: 13,7. 

1. Which hardware in SET PG/PC Interface I have to use for start RunTime?
2. Is there any possibility to set the time without RunTime?
3. What is meaning of this error which I can see on HMI. I was looking for some answer but I found only about permission of write date and time but I think It will not my case.

In most cases the Number at the End of this Error Message gives you an advice which byte is not a correct Value in the Area Pointer.

in this case byte 7 is the weekday. so the weekday has to be from 1 to 7 1 = Sunday. and of course the Value has to fit to the Date!

And dont forget to use the reserved Bytes an the end. you have to create them in the DB as well.

first of all thanks for reply. Maybe I dont understand well but I can change the lenght of this format??
I am sending you some pictures from my program I make step by step the same as in the tutorial.
But I think there must be some diference beetween S7-1200 and S7-300 time synchronization, isnt it?

it looks quite clear

the Error is that you do not have the two Reserved Words at the end of Date_and_Time. There is only the DB End.

Look in the Screenshot that i send in the last Post. The Areas Pointer needs the 6 Words not only 4 words as in your screenshot. So you have to set 2 words at the End.

Another little thing is that you should not use such a "fast" cycle for the Time Synchronisation. this trigger should be >= 1min. This is in most cases enough.

Only last question before I will try it - Can I realy use this type of format to see the date and time in the KTP1000?

I read I must this data convert first or separate with FB to format Date and TOF.
I will let you know as soon as I try it.
